How to Join
Stop by a rehearsal anytime and listen/sing with us. Our director can help you choose what part to sing, based on your voice range. You’re welcome to sing with us for a few weeks and see how things go.
If you later decide you want to join, you won’t have to audition. We will have listened to you for a few weeks and will give you feedback on whether you are able to succeed. You don’t have to be able to read music, but you have to be able to carry a tune accurately and stay on your part.
Prospective members are considered by the music team and board of directors, then voted on by chorus members, if the music team and board have approved the candidate.
Once a member, you’re expected to practice your music at home so that you can come prepared to rehearsals, faithfully attend chorus rehearsals, and pay monthly dues. Bringing a voice recorder to rehearsals can help you learn your part.
We rehearse 7:15-9:30 p.m. Mondays in the fellowship hall at Bible Fellowship Church, 14395 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161. Visit us any time!
